Make A Difference Day

Last year’s recession devastated thousands of schools across the country, big and small. Our concerns that local K-12 schools in our community suffered from budget cuts fueled our passion to hold a “drive through” school supplies collection. We set up a donation table in front of the college and welcomed generous donations of supplies and money from people passing by. We extended our efforts to collect supplies during our chapter’s signature event The Annual Religions Forum, and we were moved by the support of our college faculty and fellow students as bags of their donations poured on our donation table.
